Urinary incontinence is the most common urological problem, affecting almost 40% of women over the age of 50 years. Incontinence can be so embarrassing because it is involuntary leakage of urine. Women suffering from this problem can have a severe impact on their lifestyles. Many of these women suffer in silence.

Incontinence types:
Stress urinary incontinence: whenever a woman coughs, sneezes, or bends to lift any object, they may have urinary leakage. Mostly seen in young women who had difficult deliveries, Multiple deliveries, and instrumental deliveries. Most of the time, this can be corrected by simple lifestyle changes, like reducing weight and doing regular exercises.

Urgency urinary incontinence: Women with urgency incontinence, once they get a sensation, they have to rush. Despite rushing to the toilets, sometimes these women leak urine. Their lives become miserable because they have to change their lifestyle.

These symptoms may be seen temporarily in the presence of urinary infections.
